The hotel was clean and relatively modern. It was well located in the old part of Matera for walking and seeing the sights. Breakfast was good, but service was somewhat haphazard, with the breakfast attendant sitting out the back in the kitchen looking at her phone much of the time. Walking from the parking garage to the hotel is a little more than 2 minutes, especially if you're pulling (or pushing) a suitcase over the cobbles, and even more so if you follow Google maps rather than the short cut out the back of the parking garage 😀.

The staff was very kind although they spoke a little English. The location was perfect, everything was near. I loved having coffe at the balcony with a beatiful view. Tge breakfast was continental, variety to chose. I recommend this place and I would stay again without doubt.
