LESLEY “Imal Guest House is comfy, friendly, hygienic and safe.”

I loved the vibe of the property and its lovely managers. The room was really clean, with a comfy bed and mosquito net, the shower was powerful, mirrors, plenty shelving and sockets. Importantly, there was a great ceiling fan, plus a large balcony - great for relaxing and drying clothes. There are chairs and benches outside to socialise or be alone, and the managers are helpful and super strong carrying your heavy luggage up the stairs! They genuinely care about visitors, and have a good sense of humour. The kitchen is huge and clean with ample crockery and cutlery, a big fridge freezer, gas stove, kettle, toaster and washing machine. It’s a very short walk to the beach, and really close to the supermarket, quality restaurants, and the town centre. It’s all true! Anytime I’m in Weligama, I’d stay here for comfort, friendliness and familiarity. Done deal - I suggest others do the same and stay here! Lesley.

It was the nicest, kindest and most helpful host you can imagine! Place is super clean and well kept, the area in front in very green and pleasantly cool😌 Great value for money!

Good location - about a 10 min walk to the main area and a 3 min walk to the beach front Comfortable bed, with a great ceiling fan We got a really big terrace which was great, the owner also kindly washed our clothes

The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable, plus the staff were really kind and helpful, I recommend it :)
