The facilities, the room, the bathroom… everything is new and fantastic. Very comfortable place. The food (dinner and breakfast) is really good. Staff is extremely friendly. And it is located in a fantastic area near a lot of sightseeing places.

We’ve extended our stay twice here. Guess that says enough! Such a great and relaxed place, facility, food, music, nature and especially the staff, all very good and with super positive energy! ⚡️ The location is fantastic, right at the perfect break hearing - and in our case seeing - the waves from our bed. Rooms (and premisses) well designed with all needed amenities, good beds and pillows clean and well maintained. The village is close, all in walking distance with yoga and nice coffee places and eateries just around the corner. The area feels far more relaxed than the busier but nice surrounding villages such as Mirissa, Welligama or Hiriketiya. Swell Shacks is a great basis from where to explore.

It was clean, modern and furnished really well. Lovely restaurant and communal areas overlooking the sea. The breakfast each morning was excellent. The dogs were lovely too!

We spent 2 nights in the part of the accommodation called Swell Villas. We arrived from a 5-star resort and felt a bit unsure at first, but any concerns quickly disappeared. It’s important to keep in mind that this is not a hotel – these are bungalows, modern and Bali-style, but not a hotel, and the services work differently here. If you’re aware of that in advance, you won’t be disappointed. The facilities, surroundings, food, and staff – everything is excellent. The breakfasts are amazing, tasty, and generously portioned. Great coffee and smoothies, too. We ate exclusively at their restaurant throughout our stay and tried about 75% of the menu – and I can say with a peaceful heart that their food is fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. And last but not least – if you love dogs, you’ll feel right at home here.
