This place is fantastic. Heaps of room, very comfortable, great kitchen and a gorgeous breakfast supplied. The location was perfect, just up the road from Hobbiton.

This is a gorgeous place in a beautiful location. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with any requests. We loved that breakfast was provided, such a great bonus for weary travellers and much appreciated. Our one niggle: We understand being in a farming area flies can get pretty crazy and we loved that there were insect nets on all the windows- not something commonly seen in NZ houses. Somehow the pesky things still made it in though and caused a wee bit of frustration when trying to sleep in! Not sure there is much that can be done about that. We were lucky to have gorgeous weather and the flies seemed to love this too! Bottom line: We would happily stay here again.
