Perched high in the hills with a fantastic view of the surrounding jungle. Very quiet except for bird song. In and out of the clouds and warm rain making it atmospheric. It's cooler up here which is welcome. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Being double aspect made it feel light and airy. For the first time we did not need to use the A/C. Dinner and breakfast were served in the ‘old hospital ward’ which had attractive open arches overlooking the garden, pool and the incredible views. It was lovely sitting here especially in the rain. The food was good and we felt welcome. This place is wonderful for getting away from the craziness of the towns. Unfortunately we didn’t get to swim but the pool did look lovely and clean. We went for a walk and spotted many different tree types including rubber, coffee and cashew nut.

The place was amazing if you are looking for a quiet out of the way place. The pool overlooked the view of the forest and the room was perfect. Bright, clean and comfortable

This beautiful property in Matale was the perfect little slice of heaven. It is well out of the way of everything so expect peace and quiet, which is exactly what we wanted. Christo & his team could not do enough to make the stay with them very enjoyable. The breakfast was amazing and the dinner they made for us was without a doubt one of the best we had in our time in Sri Lanka. I would highly recommend staying here as it gives you the opportunity to fully relax and enjoy the gorgeous Mountain View’s with an infinity pool. The bedroom was comfortable and just what we needed for our night spent here.
