We absolutely loved our stay. From the early check in time given, thank you Michael to the time we left. The Bach had plenty of space for the two of us and the grounds were immaculate. The pool onsite fantastic and we made the most of it daily. Super relaxing space and had everything we needed. Quick drive to both Matakana and Warkwoth which was very handy. Our first stay here and will now be a regular spot for us to get away, reconnect and unwind. The weather turned it on for us our entire stay but I think it would also be a great winter getaway spot too. Fabulous time. Can't wait to go back.

Took my senior parents so we had a bedroom each & it worked very well for us. EVERYTHING supplied and the deck with rural views was stunning. LOVED the outside pool in a private glade, and just a 5-minute drive to Matakana Saturday market. Lovely & quiet - wish we could have stayed longer. Never do reviews but had to on this occasion as just so good!

Riverside Matakana was a beautiful place to stay. The Bach was clean, and had everything you’d need to feel at home and more! It was very family friendly, we travelled with our 21 month old child who had a blast. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. We will be returning to the beautiful matakana to enjoy to area again soon.
