Olivista is located a few kms north of Masterton, in a semi rural enclave. very quiet and surrounded by gardens. the facilities were excellent, with room for a kitchenette, couch and well appointed bathroom. With the rain and wind outside we were very comfortable spending more then normal time inside. Cliff and Geri were very generous and attentive and the free continental breakfast was delicious.

This place is great, nice environment very peaceful great facilities more than you would expect from your average b&b, room had microwave, a small cooktop plates, cutlery and more, staff were fuss free and very friendly Will definitely recommend and return

The room was well equipped but not cluttered. There were a lot of wooden surfaces and everything was of the highest standard. The propriotor was very friendly and told me about a local walk, and where to eat in Masterton. The property is about 10 minutes car drive outside Masterton, and is semi-rural. Great garden and the property has it's own olive orchard.Next time I vist Masterton I will definitely book Olivista again..

Cliff and Geri are wonderful hosts - a friendly greeting, gave local information, unobtrusive and provided a wonderful breakfast that was sufficient for three days, not one. It was brought to our room in the early evening, which would suit most travellers I would think. The property is about one kilometre off the main road, in the country, close to Masterton. No road noise, in fact, fully country living. The gardens are beautifully cared for. The accommodation itself has everything one might expect, plus some extra touches, for example in the bathroom, shaver, dental floss, face cream etc. The accommodation is separate from the house, so fully private.
