To immerse yourself — that’s the first word that comes to mind if you truly want to experience the jungle. Jungle Hut is, above all, a magnificent garden — both by day and by night — right in the heart of the reserve. Your hut faces the mountain range, allowing you to admire the landscape while sipping a cup of tea. Lonely Planet mentions that the meals here are among the best in the region — and that’s absolutely true. Breakfast is a real delight. Walk through the park, meet deer, does, or monkeys along the way, and take a refreshing dip in the pool. Safaris are always a bit of a gamble — spotting wildlife depends on timing and luck. I’m leaving with wonderful memories and photos of bison, peacocks, monkeys, deer, and even a majestic elephant on the way back to Bangalore.
