The fine print
Please note that park entry fees are payable to the park authorities upon entry to the Masai Mara Game Reserve.The Mara Triangle park fee ticket(s) is valid for 12 hours from 6am to 6pm and has to be renewed by 6am the following day. If you are staying for more days, you are required to RENEW your ticket on or before the expiry of your time as indicated on your ticket. If departing on the last day of your stay, an allowance of upto 10am is given to either check out at the park gate if travelling by road or be at the airstrip at 10am to have your ticket checked out, if travelling by air as you wait for your flight.Transit ticket is valid for 2 hours only. Any person violating the above time frame is deem to pay a fine of Ksh.10,000. Park entry fees (mandatory) are not included in the accommodation rate. This is charged as an extra cost upon entry at Mara Conservancy. Daily park entry timings: 6am - 6pm.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Exceptional location and view, friendly staff, the buildings are much better than they look on photos, the place has a lot of charm and soul. You feel remote in the nature of Maasai Mara. The pool is amazing with the view and heated.

Mara Serena was very good , the food was excellent . All the staff were friendly & helpful, & id definitely stay there again. The view from the balcony & our room was stunning. They’re as good as the pictures show on booking.com.

View from the lounge area (we could see wildebeest, elephants or giraffes in the distance) and room (could watch the sunrise there). The authentic interior design. The baboons and warthogs wandering around. The spa massage. Even though we didn’t go with the hotel’s game drivers or rangers (we had transfers and driver from Nairobi throughout our stay), based on what other visitors’ experience with them, they seem to have been much better than our driver/guide, so I’d definitely recommend going with the hotel’s/local game drivers.
