For a late afternoon, you can schedule a Railbike ride on the extinct Beirã (Marvão) train line and enjoy a magnificent sunset.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the historic town of Marvao. The hotel is old-fashioned and stylish with an excellent restaurant.

Owners are flexible. We asked for another room with slightly different specs. They changed it without ado. I made a mistake in ordering my food. Turned out to be with shell fish instead of the variety with bread as I expected. They changed it without hassle. I felt a bit ashamed ( not by their response but my own stupidity ), so I grossly over tipped them.
