“Simple but very comfortable guesthouse at the canyon tourist attractions, great food !”

The Canionel guesthouse is situated right at the Martvili canyon, in the middle of the tourist attractions, and next to the visitor center. During the day, the area is very busy with tourists arriving for the day. Very calm during the night, when the tourists have gone. The rooms were comfortable, simple and very clean. We had a little balcony which I loved. You can make your own coffee and tea at a table next to reception and there is a restaurant serving beautiful Georgian dishes attached to the hotel. Staff were very friendly. We had a great jeep tour to visit the waterfalls with the hotel manager.

The room is right next to Martvili canyon, so you just have to wake up and start roaming around the canyon.

The hosts were super accommodating and prepared special dishes for us when we couldn’t go see the canyon because it was pouring. Amazing hospitality
