We loved staying at the Smugglers Hatch! It was perfect for a long weekend break for our family of 4 (-2 adults and 2 teenagers). There is everything you could need in this lovely, charming, clean & cosy property : comfortable beds, wifi, plenty of space, great facilities and a fab pool table which got the whole family away from screens - for a change- in the evenings, (even though every room is equipped with a flat screen tv with Netflix!) Kim, the owner, came to meet us upon our arrival and was really lovely - even left out some welcome treats for us! All this, and it's just a minute's stroll to the lovely sandy beach, (with its abundance of fossils and Devils Toenails), or a five minute meander in the opposite direction to a small selection of pubs, restaurants and takeaways in the centre. We highly recommend a stroll along the beach to the bustling seaside resort of Saltburn-by-the-Sea. It took us about 50mins, walking slowly and stopping a lot to take in the views (because it was such a lovely sunny day), but it was quicker coming back. All in all, we couldn't fault our stay at Smugglers Hatch and wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future 😊

Lovely place. We'll equipped. Clean and tidy. Really comfy beds. Great location. Pool table made it for us, was nice to do an activity as a family other than electronics! Great location and lots of nice walks. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we will be back. Thank you

House was spacious and had excellent facilities. Free WiFi throughout, smart TV's with Netflix, pool table, outside seating area, and only 2 mins walk to the beach.
