The location was stunning, and the apartment itself was lovely: basic (galley kitchen, one main room with sofa bed, bedroom, bathroom) but great for us (parents and grown-up son). The local girl who met us and showed us around was really welcoming and very helpful.

The apartment was absolutely adorable! I wish I could live there! I will recommend this placecto anyone traveling to Marseille. The location was perfect to immerse yourself into the culture!

The apartment was perfect and it's location stunningly romantic. We bought joint bus/metro/tram cards and used the service 83 bus and 583 night service from the stop 30 metres from our front door for travel into the centre. The bus calls at the Vieux Port metro stop, opposite Canabiere main shopping area, and it's terminus is at the brilliant new Museum. At Au Vallon there is a Carrefour supermarket about 300 metres to the left as you come up the steps to the main road. This was really useful. We found really good restaurants both in Vieux Port and locally.
