The apartment was a comfortable, quiet and very easy place to stay. The host has obviously thought very carefully about making a stay here a pleasure. The location is within walking distance of the main station in a traditional apartment building full of local character. Well equipped it fulfilled all our needs and was a great base from which to explore different areas of Marseille. Communication was smooth, kind and helpful. Would certainly recommend and would be delighted to return one day.

Our host was very helpful and very kindly allowed us into the apartment well before the check-in time as we arrived in Marseille much earlier than we had originally planned. First impressions on location when you arrive in the narrow street is not good but it is opposite a small Ibis hotel. You soon realise when you go for a walk down the short hill that everything is in easy walking distance and there's a supermarket 3 minutes walk away. The harbour area is maybe a 15 minute walk and in the evening, the location is much quieter than you would anticipate for a city location. Overall the apartment had all we needed, it was clean, we slept well, were comfortable and we felt safe and secure inside. The bathroom was very small but the shower had plenty of room and it was hot with good pressure. there was a booklet with instructions on how to use the tv, check out instructions and some useful information (e.g. location of the tourist office) which was really appreciated. Overall, the apartment met our accommodation needs and we had a pleasant stay. Thank you again to our host for your hospitality.

Location was excellent, although being just off a main street it was considerably quiet. Easy to visit the local restaurants and bars. Apartment is very spacious and comfortable. Patrice is excellent at answering any queries!
