I initially booked 1 week, but as my room was in the basement, and it was super fresh, I decided to stay 1 week longer. I had a cheap private room without the need for a fan or A/C. I also booked the 2-night desert tour with the hostel, and they stored my bags and didn't charge for the night that I were out in the desert camp. It was a very good deal!. The staff is so friendly, and Mustafa is very well-versed in English and Spanish.

This was the first place we stayed on arrival. The staff were so friendly with my kids, helpful overall that we actually changed other bookings to come back to this place between visits outside Marrakech. For example we were told, no problem, when we asked to leave our bags there when we went on the 3 day desert tour. It's hard to describe, but their helpfullness and friendliness was more than good service and it felt sad to say goodbye.I wish each of them the best of luck for their futures. We were there in June-July - hot! But in our room we were always comfortable, never hot. The roof terrace was a big plus! At that time of year it is too hot on the terrace during the day, but absolutely amazing in the night! It has a better view over the city than many other places and we made it a little tradition to go buy fruit in town, store it in the common fridge in the rooftop kitchen and enjoy it on the terrace in the evenings, playing cards. That will definitely be missed!
