This is an outstanding guesthouse where I have stayed on more than one occasion. I return because it's a welcoming ‘home from home’. Bader, the manager, is an extremely helpful, kind and attentive host. He knows everything there is to know about Marrakech and can provide great recommendations on where to eat and what to visit. Safe, reliable transfers to and from the airport can also be arranged at very reasonable prices. The well-maintained accommodation is a characterful, authentic small Dar perfectly located an easy, short (five minute) walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa. The Dar is a hidden gem, a peaceful haven tucked away down a well-lit, quiet lane in an area that feels very safe. Despite its proximity to the square, there is no noise at night, and you’ll wake feeling rested and ready to enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast (served from 0830hrs). My room was meticulously clean, comfortable and homely with efficient air-conditioning and a good bathroom. The rooftop terrace affords wonderful views of Marrakech sunsets. A stay at Dar Daoud represents incredible value for money, and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you, team Dar Daoud - Bader, Naima, Nazha and Mr Ibrahim for everything! You made my stay perfect, and I couldn't have asked for more. I look forward to my next stay. Inshallah.

Enjoyed our stay and the riad in general. It’s a walking distance from the souks, Jemaa El Fna square and nice restaurants, so we loved it. The staff are also friendly and accommodating.

A small, cozy an quiet dar in the heart of Medina where I quickly felt myself as at home. I found my room (single room with shared bathroom) spacious, all premices were clean and in the morning decent and tasty breakfast was provided. For the first time visitor I suggest accepting the property’s offer for taxi with someone taking you here as it might be tricky to find (I didn’t!). It’s the case with many places in medina, so that it shouldn’t put you off. Once I learned my way, it was very easy and the location really is perfect. Bader is very kind and helpful, humble, always smiling and ready to help. Thank you once again, Bader!
