We arrived on bike, were greeted warmly in the bar, had a drink and were shown to our rooms. The rooms were exactly as per description plus clean and tidy. They even let us keep our bikes in the rooms for safe keeping. Location for us was excellent as it's just off the King Alfred Way and can cater for a group - we had a family room, twin and double for 6 people. Beer in the pub was good, friendly staff, can't fault it. No pub food on a Sunday evening (they phoned in advance to tell us that) and help sort us out on the day, so worked out fine. Cooked Breakfast was perfect, just what we needed for a day of cycling ahead. Many thanks to the team at the team at the Green Dragon. Would I stay there again? DEFINITELY YES!

The Green Dragon is a proper village pub in rural Wiltshire with 4 bedrooms in a separate block off the car park. I had an accessible room that was spacious and clean, benefiting from a large wet room with a shower. The bed was clean and comfortable and tea and coffee makings were provided, along with a room safe. The breakfast, at the additional cost of £10, was good, with plenty of choice and proper coffee and fruit juice. The three staff that I had dealings with were pleasant and helpful.
