The bed and breakfast guest house “Pri Gondoli” is located on the foothills of Pohorje, in the immediate vicinity of the Maribor cable-car. The cable-car, which is only 50 metres from the guest house, is a starting point for numerous activities on Pohorje throughout the year. For those who prefer to passively enjoy the view of Pohorje, a tranquil corner can be found in our big garden.

“Good rest”

The hotel is located in a very beautiful, quiet, picturesque place. There is a forest and a cable car nearby. The magical clean air completes the overall picture. There is a parking and a bus stop nearby. There is a supermarket 200 meters away. The hotel itself has its pros and cons. When we arrived, the room stank of sewage and mold. Pros: there is very good Wi-Fi and the room is very warm. We could regulate the heating temperature ourselves. For breakfast, you need to go down the road 750 meters to another hotel. We really liked the breakfast and the restaurant. A huge advantage was the freshly squeezed orange juice and croissants with pistachio cream. These are the best croissants I have ever eaten in my life. The staff in the restaurant is very friendly and cares about tourists coming back again. In general, people in Maribor are very friendly and helpful, and you can feel that they are interested in attracting tourists to their region.

Breakfast was AMAZING. So unexpected. Staff were SO friendly at the breakfast place. Highly recommended. Garden and bike storage was added extra bonus and exit to the bike park was perfect. Parking was awesome as well, super quiet street and direct access to a beautiful forest for dog walks.

Location was perfect, 2 minute walk to the cable car which takes to you to ski mountain. Staff was friendly, gave us key to ski storage, easy check in and check out, plenty of parking space available at the front of the accommodation.

The location is perfect for biking, and the dining area with some dishes and a microwave is very useful
