We had a wonderful stay at this charming, family-run hotel. The owners and staff clearly take great pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail — from the spotless rooms to the thoughtful personal touches throughout the hotel. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and well maintained, and the breakfast was delicious with a lovely selection of fresh, local options. The hotel is close to the ski resorts, and to other local attractions (Mauterndorf castle, BadeINSEL in Tamsweg etc.) and it offers free access to the Wellnesszentrum Samsunn if you book more than two nights. Finally, the restaurant offers hearty, classic Lungau comfort food. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it.
