Loved the hotel as it is a real period hotel, with rooms matching the period. The front veranda is beautiful. Staff very helpful, and Jane Bishop was charming and very attentive.

Really quirky and lovely hotel. It has a museum within it with lots of historical pieces, the highlight was a lift from 1927, that worked better than modern lifts. Staff were so helpful and polite, really loved the stay.

This property is truly unique, it has so much character and charm - it’s not just a place to stay it’s a destination in itself, enjoy a cream tea on the veranda and explore the wonderful museum and gallery and allow yourself to step back in time! This was my first time staying here and won’t be my last!

Such an extraordinary place to visit. This time-warp hotel is part museum and quirky cool in every way. It’s proudly looked after and carefully curated with loads of character. The pink billiards table was a highlight. We loved it!
