Loved the ambience of the hotel. There was so much of interest to view, every corner we turned we found another interesting exhibit. We loved the period furniture in the rooms and really enjoyed having tea on the veranda with the beautiful china. The lovely owner Jane took the trouble to chat with us at breakfast, she had so many fascinating anecdotes it was a real pleasure to listen to her. I can’t wait to come back.

The quintessential British hotel. Totally refreshing Last of a dying breed. Highly recommended. It’s quirky and interesting and we absolutely loved it. The staff are so friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Margate itself is really up and coming.
