This place is an absolute gem. Set high on the hill and overlooking the Douro River, the setting is perfect to relax for a few days. The property is a beautiful stone house with immaculate gardens and pool overlooking the valley. Cesar and Paula the hosts, were very warm and welcoming and showed us around the property. Cesar shared his delicious home made rose wine with us and had lit the fire for our arrival. We travelled as a family of 5 and this was a favourite. We also loved their dogs!

Property had great views of the valley and was convenient for our 1 day stay. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and made all efforts to make our stay comfortable.
