The warm welcome from the proprietor Great facilities, comfortable warm room. Very convenient for a stop over as near the motorway.

Very friendly and accommodating owner. Made us a lovely dinner at short notice and late. Nice size room, comfortable bed. Warm room when minus 2 outside

A very warm welcome from the friendly host. Very good value when we stayed in autumn. Came with a complimentary breakfast which consisted of a croissant, some bread and jams with hot drinks and orange juice. Location was very rural and quiet and although no garage or fence it was safe for a motorcycle overnight outside. Room was very clean but felt a little bare and impersonal. It's worth noting that downstairs by the entrance there is a fridge and microwave for guest use.

Very quiet location in a rural country home. The rooms were huge and quirky, with a mix of modern en-suite facilities and period fixtures and fittings. Our host was friendly and helpful and served a generous and tasty breakfast with bread brought in early in the morning.
