We liked everything. Amalujose and her parents couldn’t have been more helpful. They made sure we were comfortable after checking out as our train wasn’t until later offering anything we needed. She was kind enough to lend me chappals until able to buy some. The room was spotlessly clean and included a great bathroom. Great breakfasts and dinner. Quiet location and only a few minutes to the beach. Would definitely recommend staying here.

By far our favourite stay in India, in over 6 weeks of being here! The host and her family were authentically kind and caring, always friendly and could not do anymore to make our stay truly wonderful. The breakfast every morning was fabulous, with fresh fruits, traditional dishes and delicious coffee, all served on our very own balcony. We upgraded to the room on the first floor, as there was building work being done on the other house however, this is due to be completed very soon and did not interrupt our stay in anyway! The was extremely clean, spacious, with a superb hot shower and plenty of power points around. It is also in an excellent location, a stones throw from the beach.

Salt Life, Marari Beach – A Peaceful and Homely Stay I recently stayed at Salt Life near Marari Beach, and it was one of the most peaceful and homely experiences I’ve had. The place has a calm, soothing atmosphere—perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy Marari’s natural beauty. The host is exceptionally good, very friendly, and makes you feel truly at home. One thing you shouldn’t miss is their breakfast made in the kitchen—it’s fresh, tasty, and adds a personal touch to the stay. Here’s my detailed rating based on my experience: Near to beach: 5/5 Neatness of rooms: 5/5 Proximity to restaurants: 4/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Parking: 4/5 Overall, Salt Life offers a peaceful environment, great hospitality, and very clean rooms—all just a short walk from the beach. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway at Marari Beach.

Loved the calm ambience. Felt safe and looked after. Food was excellent ,Amalu and Mum catered very well for my dietary needs.
