My daughter loved the home made pancakes for breakfast. It was lovely having breakfast with the other guests. The view was great and the hosts were extremely kind.

We arrived late and the host was standing outside the garden to make sure that we could easily find the location. The place is quiet and the tent was comfortably equipped.

We stayed for one night in August 2021. Most of all we will remember the friendly welcome by Sandrine and her husband Thierry who was there to greet us on arrival and to see us off in the morning. We could park our car in the big private yard right in front of the door to the downstairs apartment. It was the only used accomodation in the historic house as the hosts were still doing renovations to the rest of the building (and there was no noisy work while we were there) and they live somewhere else in the village. We were surprised by the generous size of the rooms and of the apartment as such. Everything was new, practical and absolutely clean. For the windows you had a choice between curtains and automatic blinds. The walk-in shower was especially nice after the long drive we had that day. The double bed in the bedroom was comfortable. The hosts had already pulled out the sofa bed in the large living room but unfortunately its mattress was very hard - we put a single mattress from the bunk bed (in the bedroom) on top of it and then it was alright. Due to Covid Sandrine did not make the breakfast herself which was perfectly okay since she supplied us with everything we needed like coffee, tea, milk, toast, butter, eggs, cheese, sausage, marmalade, yoghurt, and orange juice.
