Sneddle “A very quiet and comfortable stay in a beautiful region”

We chose this lodge for its location near the Able Tasman National Park. It is perfectly set up for any travellers wishing to enjoy the region. Our room was modern, spacious and comfortable, with a large and cosy bed, looking out over the attractive gardens. The bathroom was well designed and the shower hot and strong. We loved being able to cook our dinners in the well appointed guest kitchen and eating quietly on our little deck. Some travellers might appreciate the guest laundry and shoe cleaning area. Our host was friendly and informative and we particularly appreciated that she notified us in advance of changes in the area.

Very comfortable room, super clean, very friendly staff and excellent location. Opposite beach, entrance to National Park, 2 really good places to eat and drink within 10 mins walk. We loved our stay

This accommodation was an excellent base for hiking the Abel Tasman Track. The hosts arranged our water taxis so we could walk a couple of sections of the track during our stay and this worked out perfectly. They also provided us with a tasty packed lunch for our walks. Breakfast could also be provided if required. The room we stayed in was lovely and had all required facilities. Laundry and ironing was available in a separate room and a large clothes airer was available in each room that could be put in the garden or on your terrace. Marahau is a lovely little town with a couple of excellent restaurants. My personal preference was Hooked.
