- If guest arrives to the hostel, checks in, stays the first night and then wants to cancel their remaining stay, 50% of the charge for total remaining nights will be refunded.Hostel Plinio accepts cash payments only.There is a $10 per person charge in private rooms after the first 2 people that is not calculated by booking.com.Booking more than 1 bed for more than 1 night does not secure being in the same dorm every night. This is due to availability.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

The place is really nice, we liked the beds and wood everywhere. And chillout area was really nicely made. The reception guy in the evening is also super helpful and fun.

Staying in the hostel Plinio was like a paradise. The surroundings, the way the hostel is set up in the greenery on the hill, being able to spot parrots flying around (especially around 5pm) and enjoying an amazing view of the Pacific was incredible. Really, if you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil place, feeling like you are in symbiosis with nature, come to this hostel. I loved the room I was staying in (Room 1, but I am pretty sure all rooms have a similar set up). There is plenty of room for your things (lockers and around the beds) as well as a balcony and a rooftop providing a gorgeous view of the Pacific and sunsets. The bed was very comfy! As it is a bit further away from the centre of Quepos (15-20 mins walk), many animals live in the surroundings and as they are often noctural, it can be quite noisy during the night. However, it is nothing that earbuds could not solve. (I am a light sleeper). There is a good transport connection to Manuel Antonio (bus coming every 30-40 mins on the road so watch out:) it costs 300 or 400 colones, as far as I remember. Manuel Antonio park was beautiful. I didnt have a tour guide and managed to see so many animals! You also find a bus station in Quepos, which provides a bus transport to many places around Costa Rica. I highly recommend staying in this hostel!
