Comfortable and clean rooms with excellent breakfast and freshly baked cake. Parking was available on site. Lovely hosts.

Great location, host met us, good basic continental breakfast, pool was cold but nice for a quick dip. The room was quite small but adequate (we had lots of motobike gear). It was good they had a room with a double bed as most of the rooms had two singles so there is a choice. A heater was provided, which took the chill off the cold mornings. All in all value for mone,y I think.

The house is very nice and located on a quiet road just out of Manteigas. There is nice looking outdoor pool but we visited in late November so it was really cold. In fact, it was freezing at night with frost in the morning. We were worried we would be cold but, luckily, the aircon in our room worked very well and the room we got was very small so the place warmed up very quickly and stayed warm. So visiting in winter shouldn't be a problem. The bed was nice and comfortable and the bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water in the shower. The host was pleasant and friendly both online and at the property. There is plenty of private parking. If you like cats, you will also like this place as lots of cats hang around the hotel grounds being fed by the owners. The breakfast was OK.
