My ususal place to stay when in Mannheim, but the service level is not anymore what it used to be. The doorbell and intercom from the parking is not working and I had to call the reception by telephone. The next day, the oposite door could not opened with roomkeys and after knocking on the door it was opened, after 2 times asking through the glass door, by an aggrieved employee pointing me to the other (the day before defect) door. On Sunday, the bar would be open at 5pm - it opened however at 6 pm. The next Monday evening we came with a party of 12 persons around 11pm from outside - they couldn't tap us a beer as the bar was closing. Up to my room, which was not cleaned and towels were not changed. The receptionist informed me this is standard policy nowadays and the guests have to ask for cleaning. Nobody told me when I arrived but she made me look like a stupid as it was everywere written. While in the waiting cue for checking out, one other guest complained as well for not cleaning his room - it is obviously the guest his own fault. The NH was always more than a room but things are changing, not for the good.

Breakfast, junior suite, location. Tram stop located in front of hotel. Plenty of parking around hotel for free.

Good hotel in Mannheim. The reception staff were always very friendly. Breakfast was good if nothing exceptional. The room was clean and as in the pictures. Tram stops just outside the hotel or its a 10/15min walk to the center. The reception area also has a shop area where you can buy snacks snd drinks which is useful. Solid choice for a stay in Mannheim
