I booked 7 days at Red Planet. When I arrived I waited over 45 minutes to get my key. Two other people I spoke to were treated the same The reception area was packed with guests waiting to be processed. It seemed like staff were incapable of working out how to give guests their key. I've been travelling for 3 years and the average time for getting keys has been about two minutes. You tell them you have reservation, you hand over passport, they take a copy and give you key. Easy peasy. Why this lot couldn't figure that out is beyond belief. When I handed my passport over I was told to wait in reception area. After 15 mins I went to desk and was told by a very pretentious lady that I was still being processed. I waited another 20 minutes and asked why it was taking so long. She said I was still in the que. After another 10 minutes I went to desk again and finally, yes. I received my key. I was slightly pieved at the hotels staff inability to do their job. At one stage I thought about asking them what their process is for greeting guests and giving out keys. Besides the rough start the room was great. They would have probably got a 9/10, maybe 10/10 if it hadn't been for the unfortunate start . I hope they speed up their processes. Maybe management needs to think about retraining staff.

Location is in the center of Binondo and also walking distance to Divisoria. If you need a place to stay when shopping in Divisoria and want to explore Binondo, this is a great option. Rooms are clean, has TV, AC, kettle, staff accomodating. You can refill water at lobby. If you need to extend for a few hours, just pay Php1,000.
