Oakland “Excellent stay for affordable cost”

Fiona has created a very cosy and comfortable stay that is a great value for the area. We loved being able to walk to town and park our car off-street. We stayed super cosy with bed warmers and good quality linen and bed. We also appreciated the local recommendations and really loved the wine bar for a tasting and The Thai for an amazing dinner. We loved meeting pup, Goldie, as well! Highly recommend.

Retreat is the correct name for this beautiful property. It is a peaceful, tranquil spot with gorgeous gardens. Fiona an hospitable and lovely hostess who hits the right balance between being available to chat and discreetly sensing when solitude is needed. Thank you!

Had a great time here. Beautiful appartment with great amenities and a spacious room to get a good sleep. Had a nice chat with the owner, she has the sweetest dog as well.
