The San Savino was exceptional. We had spent the summer travelling around Italy and so this was a perfect place to relax and unwind. We were welcomed upon arrival and our room was spacious and spotless. We had a wonderful view of the mountains, lake and grounds, including the pools. The team maintain the grounds exceptionally well and the facilities were great, including free sports, a heated relaxing adults only pool area and a spa. The lake was within the grounds and we hired (very cheaply) paddle boards and also booked the BBQ area. We had travelled by train/taxi and the San Savino isn’t within walking distance of supermarkets/restaurants (there is a small shop but the goods are limited), however the team provided a free shuttle service and we were able to go to the supermarket twice during our stay. The team even drove us back to the train station on our return. We would highly recommend the San Savino and will be looking to return.

We loved San Sivino and will return. We loved the spacious apartments, which was also very clean. The grounds were delightful and we appreciated the dedicated, shaded parking space for each apartment and the many sun loungers vailable. Our children (8 and 11) LOVED the pools and we took advantage of the tennis courts, table tennis and mini golf. It was just a lovely place to relax in. Plus the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Re food, we ate at adjoining restaurant Elephant one evening- the food was absolutely excellent. There is also a simple pizzeria 2 mins walk from the main gates, which was also good, plus the the mini market next door sells fresh bread and yummy croissants. Lovely location (you need a car) and beautiful scenery around about. Sirmione is an easy boat trip away from the closest port (Dusano), plus we visited Salo, Caneva Aquapark and Parco delle Fucine for a hike. Lots more to see still so we'll be back!
