Our stay at Il Sambuco was truly a dream. We visited as a family (4 adults) and booked two rooms, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The owner, Maddalena, is incredibly warm and welcoming ,she made us feel at home immediately. Breakfast was a highlight every day. Everything was homemade by her, and you could really taste the love and care she puts into it. We especially enjoyed trying the traditional local sweets, and she was also kind enough to add fresh and savory options for us. Such a thoughtful touch! She also shared great recommendations for nearby grocery shops, restaurants, charming towns, and beautiful beaches to visit in Puglia. We even got to try some of her other homemade specialties,such a delightful surprise. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. From the balcony of the upper room, we could enjoy a breathtaking sunset view that made each evening unforgettable. The pool area was amazing super clean, with crystal-clear water, comfortable sunbeds, umbrellas, and a beautifully maintained garden that made it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. This accommodation offered us the perfect balance of comfort, authenticity, and relaxation. It’s also an excellent starting point to explore Puglia, with stunning turquoise water beaches just a short drive away. We left with beautiful memories and are already planning to return next year. Il Sambuco is truly a special place, with a host who embodies kindness and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!

The property is in a quiet area but it is close to Manduria and all the prettiest beaches are just 10 minutes drive away from the house. We stayed there for six days and drove around Puglia since we had excellent location for sightseeing. The house is very beautiful and clean,we had everything we needed and asked for, and Maddalena (the owner of the house) is one of the kindest people you could meet. She takes care of the house and the guests perfectly and during our whole stay we had homemade bread and pastries for breakfast everyday. Definitely one of the best places to stay in if you want to visit Puglia.

Maddalena, the host, was very helpful. Amazing pool, perfect location close to the city but still in the quiet and peace of the country side. Very good home made breakfast

The apartment had everything we needed. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. We got several tips where we could go. The breakfast is fine. Every day our bed was made. To reach the accommodation you need a car, because it is located in a quiet area.
