Hotel Overview

The Midland is an award-winning, 4-star luxury hotel with a spa in Manchester city centre. It offers stylish, air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi.
Providing a fine dining experience, Adam Reid at The French has won 4 AA Rosettes. The bespoke menus offer creative dishes, which are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce where possible.
Lounge & Champagne bar offers an extensive drinks menu with exciting cocktails, fine wines and local beers. Open seven days a week, guests can also enjoy a selection of light meals from our breakfast, lunch and evening menu.
Traditional afternoon tea is available in the Tea Room at The Midland. Hotel guests can make use of The Rena Spa At The Midland's relaxation pool and thermal areas, for an extra charge. The Rena spa includes the aromatherapy steam room, beautiful Alder-Wood sauna and refreshing Arctic rain shower. As a hotel resident, you can book 1-hours complimentary use of our award-winning Rena Spa (subject to availability). A booking is required to access the spa, which can be made by dialling extension 25 or visiting the spa on the lower ground floor.
The Midland is less than 400 metres from Bridgewater Hall, the Palace Theatre and Manchester Central Exhibition and Conference Centre. The city's shops and bars are a 10-minute walk away.

Use of the poolside and thermal areas is always monitored to ensure the safety and well-being of guests. The property operates a 60-minute booking window for use on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and at busy times.
Children swim times apply between 07:30 and 09:00, and between 17:30 and 19:00, from Monday to Friday, and between 07:30 and 09:00 and between 17:30 and 18:30, on Saturdays and Sundays.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The relaxation pool and whirlpool close 30 minutes prior to closing times. Guests staying in the hotel can access the relaxation pool, thermal areas and gym.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. The Midland is so chic. The lobby bar was the perfect place for pre-dinner drinks. The bed was cloud like, could have stayed there all evening. Location was so convenient with nearby parking and walking anywhere in the city.

It was beautifully decorated, the bar is absolutely gorgeous. The staff of the hotel were so welcoming in particular one lady at the reception desk was so incredibly helpful and kind. Lastly the spa being including in your stay is brilliant, it was so peaceful and we had more than enough time to relax within the hour slot you get included with the price of the room.
