Quirky decor, comfortable bed, shower beer!! Food voucher was good and the food was lovely. The fridge in the shower was a unique idea, my partner loved it.

We loved our stay. The rooms are spacious and very cool. We enjoyed listening to oasis on vinyl. The bathrobes were a bonus after walking home from Ethiad stadium in the rain. The beds were very comfy. The beer of course was awesome. Would definitely book again.. staff were all great.

We booked the Captain's Suite and the room was amazing. We especially loved the record player and selection of records in the room. The staff couldn't do enough for us and were so helpful - as it was my boyfriend's birthday they helped surprise him by setting up the room with a banner and balloons I had sent to them beforehand. They communicated well through the Booking.com conversation so this was easy for us to arrange. We also had a meal voucher that we used in the restaurant, the food was great and the staff offered tasters of the beers if you were unsure about what drink to have to go with your meal. The staff let us drop our bags off before our check in time, and let us leave them there after we'd checked out as our train home wasn't until the late afternoon which enabled us to really enjoy a couple of days out in Manchester without having to carry round bags. We had a great stay. A big thank you to all the staff!
