We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The hotel is located in the first row, right by the sea. A wooden walkway leads to the sandy beach. The hotel has its own beach, and there is no extra charge for sunbeds. The rooms have crisp white bed linen and towels. A fairly varied breakfast is served in the cosy restaurant. The hotel staff are helpful and polite.

Hotel Comandor was a really cool surprise, Situated in a quiet spot in Mamaia, the hotel is a nice place for families with small children. We steped in the hotel baby stroller, big suitcases and giant smilles, they imidiantely upgraded our room to a bigger one, with a great view of the sea on the top floor. Our baby had a blast watching the seagulls comming into our big terrase and we enjyed mornings and sunsets. The breakfast was good, the pool was cool. It’s nice that additional to the pool, they have a shallow one for the youngsters and a playground close to it. You can walk from the pool to the beach, where the umbrellas and chairs are included in the price of the room. The staff was really helpful and nice to our one and a half year old.

Despite the small size of the room and the non- availability of twin beds it was comfortable, good AC, good mattress. We would especially thank Christina from reception- she was particularly kind & helpful
