Traveller reviews

“Lovely stay with great hosts and delicious breakfast. Great area for walking.”
01 Oct 2023
Lovely spot. Dominique and Monique were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding and we were very grateful for their recommendations and help on a whole host of areas including recommending a great hike. They also kept our luggage for us while we were hiking, which was very helpful for us. Although there were a few parking challenges, they made this as easy as possible.

Owners were very hospitable, lovely to stay in such a welcoming home

“If I went back to Southern France I would definitely see if Les Tournesols was available.”
30 Jul 2023
The location was in an old part of the town with very narrow cobbled streets. Parking in the immediate vicinity wasn't possible, (at the time we were there), but there was free car parking only a 3 min walk away. Loading and unloading luggage by the house was possible. The room was big and clean with a veranda, fridge, kettle and T.V. The shower superb and plenty of very hot water available. Our host was remarkable and spent time to direct us to the sites to visit and gave us additional information to accompany this. The best French breakfast ever!

“A wonderful traditional and friendly place to stay”
11 Jul 2022
Firstly the hosts were incredibly welcoming and took extra steps to help us park our car. Some reviewers have mentioned that it is difficult to park. I was driving my UK car and, yes it was a little awkward, but it is an old and mountainous town, not intended for cars! With the help of our host and a little extra wriggling, we managed perfectly fine. To clarify, you might be lucky and get a space outside, but if not, you are able to unload your car, then move it to a large free place just a few hundred meters away. Don’t let this aspect put you off! The property was beautiful and very clean with a lovely garden. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The Wi-Fi was strong. The breakfast was the best we had in our two week stay in France. Our host was also extremely thoughtful, recommending a place for us to eat (which was fab btw) and giving us an up to date report on the lavender fields (we might have visited a barren field!) We took his recommendation and went to Sault instead! A very successful stay!
