It's a beautiful place to visit; it's very peaceful, and in winter, the snowy landscape makes it even more enchanting. Thomas and his family were incredibly welcoming: they go out of their way to treat guests well, are very kind, helpful, and above all, very attentive. You can feel the warmth of home and their enthusiasm for making their family project a success. I highly recommend staying here. Besides the comfortable house, they offer excellent food.

Tomas and his family were very nice to us and made efforts to accommodate our needs (my husband’s food allergies). Our young daughters loved their food and playing with friendly dogs. We all felt very comfortable to stay there. It’s a very clean room and the hotel is conveniently located for skiing. We would love to come back!

What a delightful treasure to come across. Bergpension is a cosy lodge tucked on the edge of the Brambrüesch moutain with commanding views of Chur and the valley. Mine host Thomas is welcoming, a great cook (just try his Làngos von Emese!) and helpful with tourist and travel guidance. We arrived from Chur by taxi, but departed by the cable car, with the top station just a brief stroll from the cottage - and Chur Barnhof a short walk from the bottom station. Same travel time as the taxi, but half the price and a hundred times the viewing experience. Next time, we'll arrive by cable car!
