It was very cosy (in winter) and so very comfortable with everything you need and more! (Books, blue tooth music player, plenty of firewood with a rustic charm and modern conveniences) So close to town to walk up for dining and shopping. And the added bonus was hens in the back yard that supplied us with breakfast! A truly great place to stay to explore Castlemaine, Daylesford, Hanging Rock and more.

The authenticity and comfort of the cottage, in an exceptional historic setting surpassed all our expectations. We felt immediately at home rather than just visitors and every need had been anticipated and catered for.

Location was perfect, we just walked to the street in about 4 minutes. Loved being there because it was actually my Grandmothers home many years ago, and I havent been there in 60 years. Many memories.
