The fine print
From January 1st, 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night will be applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent resident MY PR Card are exempted.The name on the credit card used for the booking must correspond to the guest staying at the property. A third-party payment will not be accepted.The restaurant is closed from 08/09/2025 to 12/09/2025.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

I’ve stayed at Hilton Putrajaya, Damai Laut, and Melaka and honestly, Melaka is my favorite. Even though I have a 4-year-old toddler, I still prefer Hilton Melaka. For families with kids, Damai Laut or Putrajaya might feel more suitable, but for me, the Hilton in Melaka just stands out. The rooms are new, cozy, and super comfortable. I’ve never experienced this same level of comfort at other Hilton hotels. The water pressure in the bathroom is amazing, especially the overhead shower that feels like water falling from the ceiling. It’s so refreshing, almost like showering under a waterfall. Pure therapy! Usually, in other 5-star hotels, especially on higher floors, you don’t get such strong water pressure. The bed, pillows, and comforter are all incredibly comfortable. The staff are outstanding from the receptionists at check-in to the team assisting with the lift and guiding us to a table at breakfast, everyone was so warm and friendly. I especially want to highlight the Malay staff who assisted me throughout my stay. They were genuinely kind, attentive, and carried such natural warmth. It really made me feel welcome. And speaking of breakfast, the food here is hands down the best among the three Hiltons I’ve tried. There’s such a wide variety, so many choices, and even close to 10 am the food was still being refilled and plentiful. Honestly, I just love Hilton Melaka so much. Everything about this hotel makes me happy!
