The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

Tan “Lovely stay in a peranakan house”

The property is in the old peranakan houses, located just a street behind the busier jonker street. Makes it easier to explore the historical part of the town. The hotel has retained many of the Peranakan architectural features and decoration within the hotel. I particularly like the antiques furnitures and paintings within the main lobby; the peranakan cabinets potteries , in the inner halls. The courtyard breakfast space and the other courtyard garden space provides conducive seating spaces.

Absolutely loved the stay at Hotel Puri Melaka. The hotel is full of heritage charm and feels like stepping into a beautifully restored Peranakan home. The courtyard is especially relaxing and a great place to unwind. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and perfect for families. The location in Jonker Street is fantastic—just a short walk to all the main attractions. Having private parking in this area is a huge bonus and made everything very convenient.

Real historical place, close to city center, but still quiet

Location was excellent, close to tourist attractions. Parking lot was nearby and gated. Breakfast was good. Very nice of the staff to have prepared simple birthday decoration in the room. Recommended to select suite room as it is much more spacious and quiet. There was a lift but to get to the rooms may need to climb a few stairs.
