Maria, May, and the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel not just accommodated, but truly seen. Whether it was arranging last-minute outings, customizing meals, or simply checking in with a smile, their attentiveness was unmatched. The service was seamless—thoughtful without being intrusive. Daily breakfasts were fresh and flavorful, and the dinner menu was a delightful blend of local and international dishes. The rooftop spa was a dream: ocean views, expert massages, and a sense of serenity that lingered long after. Management deserves special praise for the immaculate upkeep and thoughtful design. The villas are spacious, beautifully decorated in Swahili style with modern touches, and each one offers breathtaking ocean views. Everything—from the water pressure to the generator backup—worked flawlessly, which is rare and deeply appreciated. And the location? Absolutely perfect. We had a wonderful stay at Clove Island, thank you so much! Staff super friendly and helpful, perfect location for day trips, delicious food with many vegetarian options, nice and cosy pool area, rooms perfectly clean, comfortable, handy to be able to cook your own food (we stayed for one week and got some groceries). Loved that hotel is small and quiet, felt very relaxed, we were looking for a quiet place just to read and enjoy the sun. We walked to other hotels just to have a look and we kept saying Clove Island looks the best in the area :)

Devine breakfasts, large pool by the ocean, wonderful stuff, superb restaurant….they are on of the best reasorts in zanzibar..

The staff and the management were amazing. Everything we’ve ever asked for was taken care of smoothly and immediately including climbing the coconut trees in the heat of the day so we can enjoy some coconut water. The location is perfect as you get the least of the Zanzibar tourist “hunters” in this particular place. Everywhere else is just painfully annoying that someone is always trying to sell you something.
