Apartments with a good layout of rooms and an excellent air conditioning system. There is everything you need to cook, a quiet place with a good view of the sea and the city. The city center is 15-20 minutes by bus. Nearby there is a bus stop, a beach and grocery stores. The hosts are very friendly and sociable. We were met at the airport and treated to khachapuri and dessert.

Very friendly and kind host who welcomed us with kachapuri and wine. Nice view from the balcony to Batumi. Beds and towels available for 4-person family. Very reasonable price. All the plants and garden make great atmosphere and vibe. Quiet area. It is a bit higher up the hill than marked on booking map (definitely not 400m distance to the sea) but it was not a problem because we had a car.

it is a bit off the traffic and the hectic city. it lies on a green hill and from the forth floor, where our apparent was, you can see the whole city and the beach. downhill is a cute beach. the balcony is huuuge and you can enjoy sunset and sunrise there. the flat it self is spacious, bright and very clean. and the host is very very welcoming and helpful. we felt super comfortable and homey. i wish we could have stayed longer. thanks for the great time!

We loved our compact, quiet and cosy flat on a hill with beautiful balcony views towards the sea and the distant Batumi. The aircon is in the sitting room only, but the bedroom gets cool very quickly. There is a carefully and lovingly tended garden and a veranda for the guests. The nearest beach is downhill and across the road, but there are two more developed beaches within a short drive; our preference was the beach below the Botanic Gardens. All the beaches in Makhinjauri are very clean. Carrefour supermarket is just downhill from the house, in the main road, but in a square about 10 min walk further there there are 3 or 4 food stores, 2 pharmacies, a wine shop, a cafe with a nice selection of dishes, fruit stalls and, best of all, freshly-baked bread, khachapuri, kubdari, potato bread and much, much more in the two bread stalls. Downtown Batumi is about 15 min drive. In our view, Makhinjauri is an ideal location to explore both Batumi and surrounding Ajarian hills, while enjoying the clear sea. We could not have dreamed of more gracious hosts: Iraklyi and Nati's hospitality won us over. On arrival we were treated to an amazing hot home-made khachapuri; there was a big bottle of spring water in the fridge, along with lemonades and a selection of superb cakes. Communication was quick and efficient, so we got answers to all our questions promptly. Highly commended!
