The location is central, opposite Stella Maris Hospital. Less than 1 km away, you can find KFC, Burger king and in another direction McDonald's. There are plenty of stands, shops around. The room I was given on the 2nd floor with lift didn't have a window, but some rooms have. The TV didn't work and I didn't try the aircon as there was no remote and didn't bother to ask for it. As I got sick from it from the previous hotel I stayed in. There is western toilet, sink and a shower head that is fixed to the wall so cannot move it around. Water pressure was good, no hot water but it was so burning hot in Makassar I wouldn't use it. There was a desk, mirror and furniture to put your bag, but no hangers. The WiFi didn't work from the room, though I could see the WiFi antenna near the elevator. Some guest sit on the sofa next to the elevator to get signal. Should you need it, you need to request the WiFi from reception. The hotel does close at 12AM and re-opens at 7AM. There is a 50000 Rp deposit that is returned upon checkout and verification. I wouldn't call the room pleasant but clean, functional with good basics, and very good value. The staff has been helpful using Google Translate for our communication. There were mosquitoes at reception, was happy not in the bedroom, apart from one that managed to sneak in on the 2nd night, but with the white walls it got found out and dealt with.
