This is the second time here in a 2 week period. After biking to Basel and back we were satisfied the first time and decided to stay again. The front desk check in was very excellent. Everything was fine. Also there is a safe locked storage place for your bicycles

We are biking the EV4/15 south through Mainz and this hotel is right on the bike route. Very convenient location with a secure locked room for the bikes. We were hesitant to book a Super 8 because in North America they aren't the best hotels. What a surprise. Very friendly check in (we were an hour early) somewhat smallish room but very adequate and clean. Beds were fine and as we asked to be at the back of the hotel, it was also very quiet. There is construction down the road but we didn't hear any of it. It quite aways away. As an added convenience there is a Rewe about a 10 minute walk away. For us, as the Canadian dollar is so weak it's a great value.

Stayed there for one night. Everything was fine apart from the bathroom light which lights up the whole room (people mentioned it before: the wall between the bathroom and the beds is made of frosted glass). But we were aware and we used the torch app on our mobile instead of the light switch. Check-in was speedy, uncomplicated and the member of staff was very friendly. As we travelled in spring, there was no problem with heat in the room or the need to open the windows or street noise due to open windows. We did not have breakfast there so we cannot say something about it.
