The fine print
Please note that upon check-in guests are required to provide the bank card that was used to make the reservation. If the used card cannot be provided, the prepayment will be refunded and guests will be required to pay by other payment method. The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property.
Room rates on 24 and 31 December include a Gala dinner. Any guests in excess of the maximum occupancy of the room, including children, will be charged separately.
Starting 1 August 2023, Seychelles implements New Environmental Sustainability Levy to Enhance Green Initiatives. Under the newly introduced levy, all visitors to Seychelles will be required to contribute on a per person/per night basis. The payment will be made directly to the hotel, ensuring a seamless and convenient process for travelers. The cost will be 100.00 SCR per person, per night. It is to be noted that the Levy will not be applicable to citizens and residents of Seychelles, children of 12 years and below (visitors), and crew members.

Upon arrival, they offered me a wet towel and a refreshing drink 🔝! , then at check-in, they noticed that it had been my birthday the day before and they gave me a room upgrade, I thought it was great 🆒!!!, the new rooms are next level, smart system! comfort! etc! Amazing! ... the breakfast was very good, and for lunch / dinner you have a varied offer in their 3 restaurants. In general, the facilities, the view, and more! Most importantly, the staff! I really enjoyed my stay.

Exceptional! Arguably one of the best hotel in Mahe. We arrived with a flight delay of 4+ hours and the shuttle driver organised by the hotel made sure to wait for us regardless of us arriving 4 hours later than scheduled. On arrival, check-in was seamless, within 10 minutes we had already checked in and ushered into our sea-facing room. Breakfast was great with a fair range of variety. Lunch and dinner were equally great. Ocean deck restaurant was a perfect spot for lunch with variety to accommodate various nationalities. Anina at the ocean deck served us for most of the days during our stay and she was really helpful and assisted a lot with selecting the best/popular dishes. Mr Sihan and Ms Sakura were very helpful at the front desk. Ms Sakura organised a Mahe tour excursions for us which was spectacular. This took us to bitches such as Anse Royale, Anse Takamaka, etc. While it’s easy to give shoutout to people we interact with daily during our stay, it is equally important we give flowers to those who keep our spaces clean, so a special thank you to, Ms Karen from house keeping who kept our room exceptionally clean everyday. Also a turndown service in a 4 star hotel wasn’t something I expected, so overall, cleanliness was over and above expectations. Overall, this was an amazing 5 nights stay at this beautiful hotel right at the beach. On Tuesday, there hotel had a ‘happy hour’, cocktails were unlimited and free for everyone between 4-5PM on that day. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations, I have been to a few beautiful places including Maldives, Mauritius and Zanzibar, so my expectations are often very high and Coral Strand Hotel lived up to the standard.

The location of the property was excellent- right on the beach! We got upgraded to the beach view room. We went for our 10th Anniversary celebrations (we had gone to the same hotel 10 years ago and we went back coz it was the best in terms of location and value for money!) and the staff went above and beyond to make it very, very special. The upgraded us, and on the day of our anniversary, they helped us celebrate with cake and special seating at breakfast. We even organised a trip with the glass bottom boat with them, and that was excellently handled and good value for money. The staff and the management at the hotel are excellent, with a special shout-out to Mr.Chamara, Ms.Sakura, Mr.Sanjay, Ms.Ezra, Mr.Ian, Mr.Krishna, and Mr. Prashant.
