The room is very spacious and comfortable for 2 people, although I was traveling alone. The bathtub is big and comfortable with side handles and head rest. There's both a telephone shower and rain shower which was a pleasant surprised. The room is well equipped with kettle, toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, handsoap, shower cap, toothbrush and conditioner). The hair drier is powerful which is very useful for my type of hair. The bed was firm but comfortable, not the super hard mattresses commonly found in Thailand. The linen is also of hotel quality, cotton sheets and clean. So we're the towels. They offered 2 bottles of water and the fridge had some other drinks like coke, beer, tonic water and canned juice for extra cost. The highlight for me was the view to the fields and mountain. Although the rice crop had just been collected a week before my arrival, it was very nice to still see the green left and the ample field. I spent a lot of time in the balcony and from my room the bathtub also had view to the field and was private to bathe. There's also indoor seating a coffee table and 2 chairs, along with a lounge sofa. The windows of the room are very big and have a non see through layer so people from outside can't see in, adding more to the privacy in all rooms. The owners are very nice and helpful. She took me to buy some oranges and snacks I wanted to have with me. And gave tíos of the area. I enjoyed playing with the dogs and seeing 2 of them run in the rice fields in the morning.

We felt very welcomed, and everyone was nice, as usual in Thailand. Breakfast was great, with fresh fruits pastries and also other dishes you could opt for. The room was good enough. It felt like it lacked a bit of privacy as all the walls are with glass, but overall we were comfortable. We were happy to have coffee, tea and some snakcs/fruits available throughout the day. We loved having the bikes available to explore the area! The room is a bit dated, with a lot of carved wood in furniture and room structures, and thus feels at the edge of being dusty/dirty, but it's still good enough. The main issue in the room was bathroom cleanliness. It's great to have a bathtub, but it had yellow and grey stains of accumulated dirt/soap in all the edges of drain, handles, etc. We washed/scrubbed well before, and could remove most or it, to feel comfortable to use it. The food at the restaurant is okay. The rest of the facilities are kind of abandoned, so it also felt a bit unfortunate not to have a comfortable chair to use around the pond or the deck. They also have several dogs, they are cute and friendly, one even went on a walk with me once. However, we did not appreciate the strong smell that comes from their sleeping area, which is also just to the table with breakfast and coffee and tea are set. At times it felt not hygienic, that they go everywhere, including the Breakfast area, jump on the chairs where you are eating, etc. One of them also broke our hearts as he is very old and sick. And he can barely move. He also peed next to breakfast area once, not his fault, but it was painful to see him howling around in pain, barely able to walk, and it felt to us like they should take care of him in a more appropriate way. Finally, on a more positive note, the location is fantastic and there are a lot of small restaurants and many cute coffee shops around to explore.
