We loved our stay at the Boondee House - this place was an incredible value. We liked our room with the separate bathroom accessed outside our room and the common area. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even though because of the wet season we couldn't do a motorbike trip out of town, as we would have liked to, and therefore finished up staying only one night. We loved the neighbourhood - it felt very Japanese like - we even went to a Japanese restaurant for dinner. We wondered around the town visiting the lake and temples and the morning market but there didn't seem to be a lot to do in the town itself - so we went off to the Fern Resort just out of town that was beautiful. All in all, we enjoyed our short stay at the Boondee House and Mae Hong Song very much.

The room was great, the bed was comfortable. The communal area was amazing, really well equipped with a kettle and microwave and gave a solo traveller the opportunity to chat with others. Very easy to have breakfast from 7/eleven. A good fridge in the room was so useful and the TV is an android system which was awesome.

I spent almost 1 week at that very pleasant guest house. A great place to relax, lots of common places to enjoy a coffee or a beer ! My room was cleaned every day, a good bed, tv, fridge and other furnitures with a large bathroom and a terrace as well ! Mr Boondee and his female staff make this place very attractive and comfortable. Thanks to them !

The owner of Boondee House is beyond kind. It's a wonderful area hosted by wonderful people. Great value for money with nice places to eat nearby. I highly reccomend!
