Please note that for security purpose all Indian guests are required to present a valid photo ID proof (Voter's ID, Driving Licence, Aadhar Card, any other ID with address approved by the Government of India. Pan Card is not acceptable). All international guests are required to present a valid passport and visa. For Indian guests, cash settlements of INR 25000 and above will require a pan card copy during check out.Renovation work of the pool will be carried out from 22nd April 2025 to 15th June 2025. Another pool 5 minutes away from the property can be arranged upon request at the front desk.

The Gateway is peacefully located, set in wonderful grounds overlooking Madurai. It has fantastic gardens, excellent facilities and spacious comfortable rooms. The restaurant food was excellent, as was the breakfast. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful.

The best place to stay if you are looking to get away from the busy city centre. Very nicely positioned on the hills.

The staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough to help eg Pandian, Silpa, Puja and Diwa as well as many others. They were outstanding.
