The hotel was nice and quiet. It’s in Barrio Salamanca, which is nice and calm. We had access to a kitchenette and a relaxing pool. The front desk staff were wonderful. There was breakfast included every day with multiple options. There was even a common room where you could rent games and a restaurant. The hotel is close to a few metro stops and walking distance to Retiro Park, the shops in Goya and Plaza de Toros de las Ventas. The air conditioner worked well and was easy to use. There was also a spot to do laundry.

The Residence exceeded my expectations. The breakfast especially, it was a complete and nutricious breakfast served daily with a large window of time for the early and late risers alike (as a late riser I really appreciated this since I meant I didn't have to get up earlier than I usually do to eat). I took a peek at the laundry room and gym, and althought I can't speak to how well they work becuase I didn't test them, both seem spacious with enough equipment. The gym actually had more stuff than I expected, it's enough for basic cardio and weight training. The staff I chatted with was all very nice and polite. The room was comfortable, well kept and clean. I didn't encounter much noise during my stay either. In the common area you'll find some food and drink vending machines that come in handy for a late night snack, as well as some comfortable seating area and a pool table!

The hotel has an excellent location: the bus stop is very close, and it takes about 15 minutes to reach the city center by bus. The rooftop with a pool is incredible and free for hotel guests. The room is comfortable and has everything you need, except for an iron and a hairdryer, which can be requested at the reception. Receptionist was very nice and helpful. Special thanks to her.

It was a pleasant stay! I enjoyed the location, the staff was friendly and the room itself was pretty neat. The access to the rooftop and a small swimming pool up there were a nice addition.
