This was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at during our holiday. The location was excellent and we either walked or took public transport where we needed to go. Very comfortable bed.

While planning our Madrid trip, I remembered we stayed in this hotel before, on a previous (family)trip some 10 years ago. With good memories. Mainly because of the hotels excellent location in the heart of the city. Close to Sol plaza, with its metro stop. The Plaza Major & Mercado de Miguel a short walk to the west. And the Prado Museum (amongst others) & Retiro Parc a short walk to the east. With many shops, restaurants, bars & terraces in between ! The hotel underwent an upgrade over the years and did not disappoint us. Rooms as stated on the website. Comfortable bed (firm matrasses), large bathroom. And most important to us: clean ! Buffet breakfast with great variety on offer. If we are to return to Madrid, this hotel would be our choice again ! Bonus: although we arrived a little bit early, we were allowed to check in already as the room was ready. And on the last day of our stay we were able to enjoy the city, leaving our bags in the hotel storage before heading to the airport.

Excellent location, central to several subway stations. Loved the rooftop to enjoy the warmth and sunshine, and a beer while watching sunset!
